Let's get together

EXACTLY – it’s time to celebrate an extraordinary personality.
Especially in times like these, oh yeah, wild times indeed. There’s no better moment to pause, come together, and raise a glass (or two) to someone who made such a lasting impact on all of us.

I think we all feel the same: not only is he deeply missed, but he left us with a torch, a torch to stay connected, to share memories, to look out for each other, and “above all” to enjoy and celebrate life, right here and now.

We’re doing it again. And yes, we’re back on the beach, by popular demand (or, let’s face it, because some of you beautiful people didn’t make it the first time around).

Thanks to Richard, we’ve got a spot right on the sand, where we can sit, laugh, toast to old stories, make new ones, and enjoy what matters most: great people, friendship, food, drinks, and yes, what I’m personally most looking forward to: a good stogie with an ocean view.

Whether you’re gazing out at the ocean, strolling the beach, or soaking in the fantastic view of the boardwalk (as Oliver would’ve said: “The talent meter is always on”), we’ve got you covered.
Speaking of which…this year it falls on a Friday, so no excuses about work, traffic, or “early meetings the next day.” Did I mention it’s a Friday?

Definitely bring your David Hasselhoff shorts (for the youngsters, that’s a Baywatch reference), your lifeguard jackets, your bikes, your cars, whatever you love to show off. Let’s make it another FANTASTIC one.

And for the skeptics in the group, I’m organizing it myself this year. So, please go easy with the feedback. I’ll do my best not to disappoint (I might be a bit rusty).

Please make sure to RSVP; that part is important so we can plan accordingly. I’ll be sharing a map soon, but for now, just know it’ll be right off the California Incline on PCH.

Now, before I go, let me leave you with one of Oliver’s favorite quotes from Two and a Half Men. Charlie Harper, in all his glorious irresponsibility, once said:
“Life is short. But the nights are long. So party accordingly.”

…boy, did he love that line.

Cheers, Frankie
